Beautifully designed and written book. Age appropriate. Excellent historical facts! Book well put together
Great book for children but also adults! Pictures are so vivid. What a great condensed way for students to learn about our nation’s history!
As a retired elementary teacher, I was so impressed with the author’s ability to be brief but entirely on point, hitting the true main ideas and ideals in this summary our nation’s history. This would be a targeted review of the bulk of history for fourth grade.
I also appreciate the obvious love and respect for this country, while acknowledging its imperfections. The encouragement to learn more and get involved is followed by praying for our government leaders no matter if you agree with them or not. I’m thankful these lessons are still being taught by authors like Ms. Freitas.
