Bria Freitas — Founder, Author & Creative Director
Bria is the founder and author behind Bright Little Pages and leads nearly every stage of bringing its stories to life. From researching and writing each book to directing illustrations, coordinating publishing, developing educational resources, managing marketing, and building relationships with schools, homeschool organizations, retailers, libraries, community partners, and families, she oversees the vision and growth of Bright Little Pages from beginning to end. As a private-school elementary educator, Bria also brings an educator’s perspective to the stories, activities, and learning experiences created for young readers and their families.
Silas Freitas — Layout & Design Contributor
Silas Freitas is Bria's husband and helps with layout and design — including the placement of pictures and text throughout the books. He's been part of this journey since the very beginning and continues to be a meaningful part of how each book comes together.
Gabriela Welch — Illustrator
Every bright page begins with a beautiful heart.
Gabriela Welch is the talented illustrator behind the heartfelt artwork of the Brighton family Seasonal Collection. Working primarily in colored pencil, Gabriela brings warmth, gentleness, and expressive detail to every character and scene she creates. Her artwork is known for its soft textures, rich color layering, and the emotional sincerity that shines through each page.

Gabriela's original artwork also forms the foundation of our coloring books — her illustrations from the storybook are adapted into the story-based pages of each coloring book. Additional simplified pages, designed especially for smaller hands, are created separately.
Karen Kumpulainen — Editor
Karen Kumpulainen serves as editor for several Bright Little Pages titles, helping refine and polish each story before it reaches readers.
Bright Little Pages continues to grow, and future titles may feature contributions from other team members as the collection expands. This page will be updated to reflect who worked on each book.
